REINIS NITIŠS AND ALL-INKL.COM MÜNNICH MOTORSPORT TO PART COMPANY AFTER LOHÉAC RX
FIA World Rallycross Championship presented by Monster Energy driver Reinis Nitišs and German-based team All-Inkl.com Münnich Motorsport have agreed on the termination of the contract upon which Reinis Nitišs has been competing in a Seat Ibiza RX Supercar in World RX this season. Nitišs had been due to complete the year with the team, but by amicable agreement, the two parties will part company after Bretagne World RX of France.
“Before the season I knew that developing a new car would be a great challenge. During the season we have made many steps forward and gained a lot of knowledge and experience. Unfortunately, it has not brought us the results that we hoped for, therefore I have decided to put my main focus into the 2017 season. I would like to thank René (Münnich) and the whole All-Inkl.com Münnich Motorsport team for the cooperation and often selfless work on to move forward with the project,” stated young Latvian driver, Reinis Nitišs.
For the remainder of the season, All-Inkl.com Münnich Motorsport will continue to develop the Ibiza RX Supercars. The vacant seat left by Nitišs will be occupied by other drivers. Meanwhile Nitišs has confirmed his participation in his home round of World RX, the Neste World RX of Latvia, and promises that more information on his future will be published soon.
